Rebound Books

Here is a novel idea (pardon the pun) from Rebound Books. The idea is really simple… they find beautiful, neglected :-( hardcover books and re-bind them with a creamy, matt, environmentally friendly paper. The result is a durable, totally unique journal, diary or sketchbook :-) The original insides are also yours if you want them (so take it easy all you militant book freaks out there!), or they will donate them to a school with zero library resources. Fabulous!

Dwell Studio

Dwell Home Furnishings was founded by Christiane Lemieux in 1999 in an effort to bring modern textile design to the world of home. Christiane Lemieux is the Founder and Creative Director of DwellStudio. Before bringing her textile expertise to bedding design in 1999, Christiane was the Design Director of Portico New York, a luxury home furnishings company, and a fashion designer at Isaac Mizrahi and the Gap. The result is an American style, but with rich earthy tones that are adaptable to any home environment. I particularly love the detail in their Chinoiserie (bird design) range.
